The next era of global wealth won't be written in oil — but in ions. Join world-leading researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers at Africa's most pivotal battery conference.
Theme: Batteries: Circuiting the Future of Emerging Economies
This initiative is part-funded by the UK Government via the Transforming Energy Access
At the Emerging Markets Battery Conference, we believe that the next era of global wealth won't be written in oil, but in ions. Batteries are already rewiring and reshaping emerging economies in profound ways — a revolution largely absent from major global battery fora.
By placing battery innovation at the heart of the conversation, we discuss the fundamental catalyst for green industrialization, job creation, smart transportation, energy access, and sustainable prosperity in the 21st century.
This is NOT a conference to make money for its organisers. It is a conference to invest in the future of emerging economies, energised by battery technology. We gather innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and changemakers united by a shared mission.
We believe that the next era of global wealth won’t be written in oil, but in ions. Batteries are already rewiring and reshaping emerging economies in profound ways. This revolution has largely gone unnoticed and absent from major global battery fora. Our first-of-its-kind conference, born out of urgent necessity, will rewire the narrative.
By placing battery innovation at the heart of the conversation, we aren’t just discussing power – we are discussing the fundamental catalyst for green industrialization, job creation, smart transportation, energy access, and sustainable prosperity in the 21st century.
If you have any interest in battery activity in emerging economies, then this conference is for you!
The conference is delivered by the Faraday Institution Battery Ambassador Programme, part of the Ayrton Challenge on Energy Storage. The programme aims to build networks among battery professionals and institutions from emerging markets.
